Aristocrat Motors: iPads to Enhance the Customer Experience


A few months ago, we began an experiment at Aristocrat Motors to enhance our customer experience. We issued Apple iPads to the Mercedes-Benz staff in an effort to see how the use of these devices could enhance the customer experience.

It’s safe to say that the experiment was a success, and our consultants were able to provide Mercedes-Benz customers with information on available colors, options, demonstration videos, and more, all from the convenience of the showroom or lot itself. 

Following the success of these devices in providing a cutting edge experience for Mercedes-Benz owners, we have decided to roll-out devices to our Porsche, Maserati, Land Rover, Jaguar, smart, and Pre-Owned vehicle staff.

Following this roll out, scheduled for the end of January, customers from every brand will be able to build a vehicle, view colors and options, see product videos, and even have service scheduled from the convenience of the showroom or out on the lot itself.

In addition to the benefits these devices will create at the store, this will provide our sales people with a better mobile “toolkit” for when they do product demonstrations off-site for our busiest customers. Also, look for our iPads to be deployed at the 2012 Kansas City International Auto Show, where our display will be WiFi enabled, allowing these devices to enhance our display, which is annually one of the most popular exhibits at the show.
